1. Location & Boundaries
The inset maps on the left side of the map precisely mark the location of Paingottoor. This panchayat is situated on the eastern border of the Ernakulam district in Kerala. The neighboring areas shown on the map are:
- North: Kavalangad
- West: Pothanicad (misspelled as Bothanicad on the map), Avoli
- South: Kalloorkad, Kumaramangalam, Kodikulam (shown as Kudhulam on the map)
- East: Vannappuram (shown as Vanttaponras on the map), Pallarimangalam
2. Ward Division

3. Geographical Observations

- Smaller Wards: Wards 1 (Ayankara), 2 (Paingottoor East), and 14 (Paingottoor South) in the north-western part of the panchayat are smaller in area. This indicates that it is a densely populated area comprising Paingottoor town and its main junctions.
